The Central Karakoram National Park is a national park located in the Skardu district of Gilgit Baltistan. The park has the world’s highest peaks and the most massive glaciers. This park is renowned for mountaineering and trekking. The area of this park is about 10 000 thousand sq.km. It has four peaks over 8000m i-e K-2 (8611m), Gasherbrum-I (8068m), Gasherbrum-II (8035m) and Broad peak (8051m). There are 60 more peaks which are higher than 7000m. The Central Karakoram National Park (NCKP) is one of the most beautiful parks in Pakistan. It has many beautiful glaciers which include Baltoro, Panmah, Biafo, Hispar and their tributary glaciers. Tourists from different parts of the world visit this area each year to climb up the massive peaks, rocky crags, and big rock walls. Most of the visitors come in July and August, but sometimes they visit the area in May and June as well. The travelers enjoy the sites.

Moreover, there is a group of the world’s tallest rock towers called Trango Towers situated close to the K-2 base camp route. Every year, more than 50 thousand travelers visit this place in their summer holidays to enjoy its beauty. Not only this, but the national skating championship is also held from 1st January to the end of February each year. Besides them, there are many other reasons for which this valley is so famous just like Snow Capped Mountains. In both summer and winter season, the mountains of this valley are covered with snow. The attractive beauty of this valley also lies in the green forests which are covered by mountains. They flow from north to south at the center of the greenery and make it a fascinating scenario.

The Naltar Valley lakes include Rainbow Lake (Fish Lake) which is located at a distance of 12 km from upper Naltar. Blue Star Lake is another beautiful lake that is entirely blue and is very deep. The third one is Badroko Lake which means a dusty black lake. It is located at the top of Kottayam, a place which is surrounded by mountains. The Naltar valley is rich in culture. Kallar Kahar The Valley of Fascination Lakes and Steeps:

It is a tourist destination located in the M2 motorway. The most popular among the tourists is the Kallar Kahar lake situated at an altitude of 1500ft above sea-level. Its depth is almost 4n feet. They enjoy boating in the lake. Many people come here to spend their holidays.

Additionally, Zaheer-ud-Din Babar, the first Mughal ruler camped at this place when he was attacking Delhi. He stayed there for some time. During his stay, a throne was built for him. The throne was later named Takht-e-Babri which still exists in Kallar Kahar town. It is prevalent among tourists. The first Mughal ruler also planted a garden called Bagh-e-Safa, which still lives there. According to the Babar, Kallar Kahar is a charming place with good air and natural beauty.

Initially, it was a seaport called Debul which was attacked by Raja Dahir. Muhammad Bin Qasim, a 17-year old boy, visited Sindh with his soldiers and defeated Raja Dahir.

Moreover, it remained a beautiful city until the 13th century, but then it was destroyed due to the changing course of the River Indus. Eagle Nest Hunza is the highest peak from where you can view the whole Hunza. On its right, there is a peak called Ladyfinger, and on the left side, Rakaposhi can be easily seen. One of the highest peaks where from whole Hunza could be sighted, on the right side there is a peak known as Ladyfinger, and on the right side, we can view the Rakaposhi.

Gorakh Hill Station is the most popular and tourist site in Pakistan. It is located in the province of Sindh and is known as “Murree of Sindh”. It is not only attractive but also the historical site of Pakistan. Many historians and tourists from all over the world visit this place every year. It is the central spot for historians who are keen to visit this place. This attractive place is also loved and visited by bird catchers and photographers who spend an excellent time on this site. Gorakh Hill Station is so named because of the Hindu saint Sri Gorakhnath who used to take strolls in these beautiful hills. The local Hindus and the Muslims followed him. It is generally perceived that traces of the saint Sri Gorakhnath are also found there even today. It is an adventurous place with steep and uneven routes n Trips in situations like this make beautiful memories. Best Tourism Spot, The Kalash Valley:

The Kalash Valley, which is also known as Kalasha Valley, is famous for its culture, tradition and the three mountain valleys in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The Kalash people are non-Muslims. They have many unique customs and festivals. There are three Kalasha valleys for which it is very much famous. Tourists love to visit them. First is the Bumburet valley, which is known to have more facilities as compared to the other two valleys. It is also popular among domestic tourists who visit this place more often. Second is Rumboor, which is more prevalent among foreign tourists. Unlike Bumburet, villages in Bumburet are less developed. The third is the Birir which is the least developed valley of Kalash and is least visited by the tourists. The way to Kalash valleys is an easy one. To reach to the Kalash valleys, one has to go from Chitral, which is the starting point to reach the destination. Chitral is the starting point for getting to the Kalasha Valleys regardless of which valley you want to go first. Visiting the Kalash valleys in the time of festivals is impressive. During the celebrations, one can have plenty of feasts, dance, drink, and so many other things to enjoy oneself. Different festivals are arranged at different times such as Chilam Joshi is a festival which is arranged in May. Similarly, Uchau is arranged in August or usually September. While Choimus is arranged two weeks around the winter solstice. On the contrary, if there is no festival, then there are just official things to do. Besides the festival time, the beauty of nature can be enjoyed with the local people and a bit can be learned about their culture as well.

Ziarat A place of Summer dreams:

Ziarat is popularly known for the Ziarat residency where Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, father of the nation spent the last days of his life. The juniper forests of Ziarat in the Baluchistan province of Pakistan are some of the largest and oldest forests in the world as reported by BBC. As per the reports by Pakistan’s directorate General of Archaeology of UNESCO, the Ziarat timberlands are spread over about 110,000 hectares. Some mature trees are about thousands of years old which have been entitled as “living fossils”. The juniper forests of Ziarat are a popular tourist spot that lies at about120km (75 miles) east of the capital city of the province i-e Quetta. There are many black bears and wolves as well as urials, a type of sheep in the forest. Apart from that Suleiman markhor, a large species of the wild goat is also found there. Additionally, juniper berries are popular for their flavor in cooking, and their oil is also useful in many ways. Furthermore, some of the trees in the ziarat valley are 5000 to 7000 years old. The people who are living in Ziarat are mostly Pashtuns. The largest tribe among them is Kakar. They consist of 70 percent of the population of Ziarat. Around Ziarat, you may find more than half a dozen gorges. The popular among them include Chutair tangi, Kahn tangi, Kawas tangi, Faran tangi, and Sandman tangi. You may find them along the road to Ziarat.
