The government’s is going to review the measures that have been taken to curb corona virus. Prime Minister Imran khan has presided the meeting of National Coordination Committee (NCC).
Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbass Bukhari, Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Interior Minister Ijaz Shah, Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh, and Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza participated in the meeting and have discussed the grave situation of Corona virus in the country.
The chief ministers of Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan were linked to the meeting through video link. All the chief Ministers briefed the prime minister over the grave situation and taken measures provincial authorities to hit the spread of the novel Corona virus.
Dr Zafar Mirza the Minister of State for Health was also present in the meeting and briefed the attendants about the recent activities by the federal government to curb the novel virus.
The National Coordination Committee, NCC was established last week to observe the operations and coordinate efforts regarding corona virus among the provinces at national level.
Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab in a tweet confirmed the new cases in the province. The number of corona virus patients reached to 104 in Sindh on Monday after 53 more cases were reported in the province.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab the spokesperson of the Sindh Government cliamed that since the first day Sindh government is taking strict screening measures at the Taftan border and airports but the federal administration haven’t paid serious heed to the novel virus.
