FOLLOW-UP MODEL OF GLADIATORS FOR PSL5 TOURNAMENT:

The season 5 of Pakistan Super League  ( PSL ), conducted by Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB ) , couldn’t prolong due to outbreak of a pandemic, the corona virus, which spread throughout the world like a wildfire. Thus, for the safety of players and the audience, the remaining season was called off and a check on the season 5 was observed. Thus, due to the above mentioned disease outbreak, a finalè couldn’t take place and the season was called off. Moreover, keeping in view the played matches, Multan Sultans was seen on top of the points table and happened to be the most efficient team of Pakistan Super League season 5.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONSFOR QUETTA GLADIATORS TEAM:

Apparently, the batting line up was strong enough to defend the title but, the bowlers seemed to not perform very well and the fielding strategy happened to be less efficient than others. The players performed poorly and carelessly in the field with a mind less focused than before. Gladiators, therefore, was unable to make it up to the points table this time. Sultans, leading the chart this time, is the emerging team of Pakistan Super League.

Therefore, keeping in view the performance of Gladiators in season 5, it’s evident that the team needs to improve and work on their strategies against strong bowling action and plans in field to defend a total. Gladiators, the defending champion, is led by Julian Fountain and Abdul Razzaq as fielding and bowling coaches respectively. The two need to tutor the players well enough to make them capable and confident in the field.

The performance of Gladiators is concluded with 5 position, 9 points and defeat in defending the title. Though, the team is expected to bounce back in the next season of Pakistan Super League with better strategies and deserved improved exhibition of skills.
